1. Boil 10 cups of water for every 1 cup of tapioca pearls in a large pot. Add the tapioca gradually and stir gently.
2. When the pearls rise to the surface, cover the pot. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Then turn off the heat and let it sit for another 2-3 minutes (adjust the time based on how soft you like them).
3. Remove the tapioca and place it in cold water for 20 seconds. Then, transfer it to a dry bowl and mix it with sugar or honey.
4. Strain and add the desired amount of syrup or brown sugar.
5. Serve in drinks or over desserts.
Tips:
1. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age! Children and the elderly should consume under supervision.
2. Be careful with hot drinks and avoid choking on tapioca pearls.
3. The white powder in tapioca is starch. If there are droplets inside the package, it's due to temperature changes. Both are normal and safe.
