Ingredients (serves 4): 1 packet of Indian Tikka Masala spice paste; 450g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces; 3 tbsp yogurt or cream; 1 tbsp vegetable oil; 1 large onion, roughly chopped; 110ml water;
Cream or yogurt for decoration (optional).
Instructions:
1. Marinate the chicken with the spice paste and yogurt or cream for at least 10 minutes.
2. Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until soft.
3. Add the marinated meat and sauté for 3 minutes.
4. Add the water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve hot with naan bread or rice.
